SuperStroke Leads Choi to Top 10 Finish at Tour Championship

Hot Streak Continues for SuperStroke Champions Tour Rookie
 
KJ Choi finished T7th at The Tour Championship on the PGA Tour using a SuperStroke Fatso putter grip. Choi finished T4th in Total Putts, leading the 16-year veteran to finish 15th in the final FedEx Cup standings.

Choi has now finished in the Top 15 of the FedEx Cup 3 times in the last 4 years while using the jumbo-sized SuperStroke grip. He has collected over $2.1 million in total earnings this season.

Other Notes

SuperStroke staff member Matt Bettencourt, who won his first PGA Tour event at the Reno-Tahoe Open this year, is ranked 7th in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.37. Four players in the Top 20 in Putts Per Round on the 2010 PGA Tour used a SuperStroke or Tiger Shark grip this year.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

The 4th place finisher at the SAS Championship continued his impressive streak of 10 consecutive Top 25 finishes on the Champions Tour this week, four of which have been Top 5 finishes. The player finished 1st in Total Putts at the event with the help of his SuperStroke Slim putter grip.

The 13-time winner on the PGA Tour currently ranks 3rd on the 2010 Champions Tour in Putts Per Round average.

The Champions Tour rookie put a SuperStroke grip into play for his first Champions Tour event and has since turned in 10 straight Top 25 finishes, placing T6, T16, T14, T24, 2nd, 4th, T15, T3rd T6th and T4th respectively. He currently ranks 12th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings and has earned $810,246 after only 10 events.
