KJ Choi continued his hot putting last week in New Orleans, leading the field in Putts Per GIR with his SuperStroke putter grip. His 1.583 Putts Per Green In Regulation ranked him #1 for the event. Choi averaged 27.5 Putts Per Round which ranked tied for 6th among all players at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Choi has been on a roll, finishing T4th at The Masters using the black grip that measures 1.67 inches in diameter, or roughly 3 times the size of a standard putting grip. Choi ranked 4th in putting at the 2010 Masters with 114 total putts, a 28.5 Putts Per Round average. He earned $360,000 for the Top 5 finish and currently ranks 34h in the current FedEx Cup point standings with over $1.4 million in earnings so far this year.

Choi has won three times with the SuperStroke grip on the PGA Tour and has had two 2nd place finishes this year at the Malaysian Open and Transitions Championship. At the Transitions Championship, he ranked 2nd in Putts Per GIR for the tournament and averaged 27.3 putts per round for a 5th place ranking.

His improved putting stats have contributed to Choi ranking 3rd on the PGA Tour in scoring average this season.

The patented non-taper SuperStroke grips are designed to reduce wrist breaks and enhance a pendulum stroke. They are also proven to reduce grip pressure and keep the putter head square. Extensive testing has shown that the SuperStroke requires up to 32% less grip tension and represents a significant improvement over conventional putter grips. Other benefits include natural balance and set up, less putter head rotation, accurate smooth putting stroke, improved ball roll and greater distance control.
