SuperStroke Golf Continues Hot Streak On PGA Tours

3M Championship - Champions Tour
The 2nd place finisher at the 3M Championship played a SuperStroke Slim grip and ranked 1st in Putts Per Round and 1st in Putts Per GIR for the event. He averaged 27 putts per round with a 1.533 putts per greens in regulation.
"This is the best I've putted in years and it is all due to the SuperStroke grip," said the former major winner.

The Champions Tour rookie put a SuperStroke grip into play for his first Champions Tour event and has since turned in 5 straight Top 25 finishes, placing T6, T16, T14, T24 and 2nd respectively. He currently ranks 29th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings after only 5 events.

World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational - PGA Tour
Two new players put a SuperStroke grip into play at the WGC event on the PGA Tour this week. One former Georgia Tech alumni was in contention all weekend with a new prototype grip from SuperStroke. He finished the event T9, his 8th Top 10 of the season on the PGA Tour. He ranked T21 in Putts Per Round with a 28.3 average.

Last year's PGA Championship winner also put a SuperStroke Slim into play and finished T15 in Putts Per GIR. He is expected to use the grip again this week when he defends his major title at the 92nd PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.

Turning Stone Resort Championship - PGA Tour
At the Turning Stone Championship, Matt Bettencourt turned in his third straight Top 25 finish since winning the Reno-Tahoe Championship with his SuperStroke Fatso grip. Bettencourt now ranks 2nd overall on the 2010 PGA Tour in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.09.

Bettencourt has catapulted up to 84th in the FedEx Cup point standings, the highest ranking of his career. Since graduating to the PGA Tour, Bettencourt has earned 7 top 25 finishes with the jumbo grip, including a Top 10 at the 2009 US Open. He has used the Fatso model that measures 1.67 inches in diameter since the 2009 Byron Nelson Championship.
